Rosemary Akua Simpson is the Founder and Executive Director of Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation, a Ghana-based nonprofit committed to promoting eye health, raising awareness about cataracts and glaucoma, encouraging early detection, and advocating for accessible eye care.
As an HR and Finance professional and Leadership & Growth Coach, Rosemary brings together her professional experience, leadership perspective, and passion for community impact to advance the Foundation's mission.
Her commitment to eye-health advocacy is deeply rooted in a desire to help individuals and families understand the importance of protecting their sight, seeking regular eye examinations, and accessing appropriate care at the right time.
Through the Foundation, Rosemary is focused on strengthening community education, eye-health awareness, early detection, partnerships, and advocacy to help reduce avoidable blindness and improve the lives of people affected by vision loss.

Rosemary Akua Simpson is the Founder and Executive Director of Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation. She is an HR and Finance professional and Leadership & Growth Coach whose commitment to eye-health advocacy is rooted in a desire to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and help communities take action to protect their sight.

Benjamin Duodu is the Co-Founder and Strategic Partner of Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation, playing a key role in shaping the Foundation’s strategic direction, strengthening partnerships, and supporting initiatives that advance its mission to promote eye health and prevent avoidable blindness.As a trusted partner to the Founder, Benjamin brings strategic insight, collaborative leadership, and a strong commitment to community impact. His involvement contributes to building meaningful relationships with communities, professionals, organisations, and potential partners while helping the Foundation translate its vision into sustainable action.Together with the Founder, he is committed to building a stronger movement for eye-health awareness, early detection, accessible care, and lasting community impact across Ghana.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Strategic Advisor
Mr. Briandt Yamuah serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Strategic Advisor of Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation. He provides financial guidance and strategic advice to support responsible management, organisational growth, and the long-term sustainability of the Foundation.
As a trusted advisor to the Founder, Bright contributes his professional perspective to organisational planning, financial decision-making, and the development of strategies that strengthen the Foundation’s impact and accountability.
Payroll Specialist & Eye Health Advocate
Prince Glover is a Payroll Specialist with professional experience in payroll administration and financial processes. He brings his professional expertise and personal connection to the Foundation’s mission, having experienced the impact of cataract within his family.
This personal experience has strengthened his interest in eye-health awareness and the importance of early detection and timely access to appropriate eye care. Through his involvement with Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation, Prince contributes his professional skills and perspective to advancing the Foundation’s mission of protecting sight and reducing avoidable blindness.
The journey of Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation is deeply personal to our Founder, Rosemary Akua Simpson. Her grandfather lived the last 40 years of his life completely blind, an experience that showed her the profound impact vision loss can have on individuals and families.
Her mother has also been diagnosed with glaucoma and now has only a small amount of vision remaining. Watching her mother navigate life with limited sight has further strengthened Rosemary’s commitment to eye-health awareness, early detection, and access to appropriate eye care.
These experiences inspired Rosemary to establish Say No To Cataract & Glaucoma Foundation with a vision to raise awareness about cataracts and glaucoma, encourage regular eye examinations and early detection, and advocate for accessible eye care.
